7-Ingredient Chipotle Lime Shrimp Lettuce Wraps

Serves Two

The Ingredients

  • 1 lb peeled, deveined, tail-off large shrimp

  • Salt + pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 limes (1 tsp lime zest, 2 tbsp lime juice, 1 lime, cut into wedges for serving)

  • 3 tbsp chipotle hot sauce

  • 1 head bibb lettuce leaves

The Instructions

  • Cut shrimp in half, lengthwise. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • In a large skillet melt butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook through, about 3-4 minutes. Flip at the 2 minute mark. Season shrimp with garlic, lime zest, chipotle hot sauce and stir for roughly 1-2 minutes.

  • Take the shrimp off stove and add lime juice.

  • Add the shrimp + toppings into lettuce leaves and serve with a slice of lime. Dig in!
