Adapted Recipe from Alex At the Defined Dish
1 lb peeled, deveined, tail-off large shrimp
Salt + pepper, to taste
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 limes (1 tsp lime zest, 2 tbsp lime juice, 1 lime, cut into wedges for serving)
3 tbsp chipotle hot sauce
1 head bibb lettuce leaves
Cut shrimp in half, lengthwise. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
In a large skillet melt butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook through, about 3-4 minutes. Flip at the 2 minute mark. Season shrimp with garlic, lime zest, chipotle hot sauce and stir for roughly 1-2 minutes.
Take the shrimp off stove and add lime juice.
Add the shrimp + toppings into lettuce leaves and serve with a slice of lime. Dig in!
