Basil Vinaigrette Salad Dressing


Recipe Adapted from Gaby Dalkin


The Ingredients

  • 1 shallot, roughly chopped

  • 2 cups tightly packed fresh basil leaves stems removed (about 4 ounces)

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar

  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard


The Instructions

  • Roughly chop the shallot and remove the basil stems. Place all the ingredients into a blender and blitz until the basil is chopped into fine pieces and the shallot is minced. Pour over salad & enjoy!
