Easy Spaghetti Squash

Serves Two-Four


The Ingredients

  • 1 spaghetti squash

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1 jar of marinara sauce *no sugar added

  • 1/2 onion, diced

  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

The Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400ºF. After washing, place the full spaghetti squash into the oven. Cook whole for 40-50 minutes.

  • While the squash is cooking, in a medium skillet cook the ground turkey over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and spices.

  • Heat the marinara sauce in a small pot on the stove over low heat, or in the microwave until warm.

  • Let the squash cool or 10-15 minutes and then slice off the top and bottom of the squash. Cut in half and use a fork to remove the inside for your "spaghetti."

  • Top the spaghetti squash with the meat, marinara sauce, and parmesan cheese and enjoy!
