Simple, nutritious ingredients! Serves 2.
For the Steak
1-1.5 lbs of steak of your choice (I am using a boneless beef New York Strip)
Pink Himalayan sea salt, to taste
Ground pepper, to taste
For the Salad
5 ounces of organic baby romaine lettuce
2 cups of roasted, chopped broccoli
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
4 tablespoons of unsalted sunflower seeds
Chopped yellow onion, to taste
Shredded parmesan cheese, to taste
1/2 sliced avocado
Garlic salt, to taste
Salad dressing of your choice (I am using a basic ranch)
1. Preheat the oven to a high broil and preheat grill.
2. Place broccoli heads on baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, and light pink Himalayan sea salt. Broil broccoli for 7-10 minutes.
3. Grill steak.
4. On the a bed of baby romaine, add the roasted broccoli, 4 tablespoons of unsalted sunflower seeds, and chopped onion. Sprinkle parmesan cheese and top with avocado and garlic salt. Toss in your favorite dressing & enjoy!
