6 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp sweet or smoked paprika, optional
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper (can do black pepper)
4 oz extra sharp white cheddar cheese
1/2 cup (1 oz) grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup (2 oz) gruyere cheese
1 9-in frozen pie crust
1/4 cup minced chives
Preheat oven to 350º F
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, & cheese.
Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell. Top with chives.
Bake until the quiche is lightly golden and set in the center, about 40 to 45 minutes.
Note: If the crust gets golden too quickly, cover it with tinfoil.
Let stand for a few minutes & cut into 6-8 slices and serve warm.
