Turkey Lettuce Sliders

Serves Three-Five


The Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey

  • 1 large egg, beaten

  • 1.5 tsp garlic powder

  • 3/4 tsp pink sea salt

  • 1 tbsp minced red onion

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • 6 large Bibb lettuce leaves, torn in half

  • Sliced onion, tomato, and avocado, or your favorite toppings for serving


The Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the turkey, egg, garlic powder, salt, onion, parsley, and pepper and mix. With clean hands, take mixture and form into 8(ish) 1/2 inch-thick patties.

  • Heat large skillet over medium-high heat. Add EVOO to skillet. Working in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan, add the patties and cook for 2-4 minutes per side, until no longer pink in the middle.

  • Place patty on Bibb lettuce. Serve open-faced with onion, tomato, and avocado, or your fav toppings. Mmmmm!
