1 lb lean ground turkey
1 large egg, beaten
1.5 tsp garlic powder
3/4 tsp pink sea salt
1 tbsp minced red onion
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1/4 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp olive oil
6 large Bibb lettuce leaves, torn in half
Sliced onion, tomato, and avocado, or your favorite toppings for serving
In a medium bowl, combine the turkey, egg, garlic powder, salt, onion, parsley, and pepper and mix. With clean hands, take mixture and form into 8(ish) 1/2 inch-thick patties.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add EVOO to skillet. Working in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan, add the patties and cook for 2-4 minutes per side, until no longer pink in the middle.
