"Cheesy" Kale Chips *DF

The Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of kale, washed, dried, and torn into bite size pieces

  • 1 -2 tbsp sunflower seeds

  • 4(+) tbsp nutritional yeast

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • Garlic salt + pepper, to taste

  • Dash of cayenne pepper


The Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300ºF.

  • Toss the kale in extra virgin olive oil.

  • Spread the kale evenly across the baking sheet (lined with parchment paper).

  • Season with garlic salt + pepper. Add just a dash of cayenne pepper.

  • Generously top with the 4(+) tbsp of nutritional yeast.

  • Sprinkle with 1-2 tbsp of sunflower seeds.

  • Roast for 15 minutes. Flip kale and roast for another 5-10 minutes (time depends on how crispy you want it). Annnnnd, snack all day long on this healthy snack!
